Gender Key Messaging to Demand Accountability in UN Spaces Learning Circle.<\/b><\/p>\n

The WHRDMENA Coalition and the Association for Women\u2019s Rights in Development (AWID) \"\"invite activists, feminists and WHRDs to participate in a learning circle entitled: Gender Key Messaging to Demand Accountability in UN Spaces. This learning circle will focus on how to work with UN procedures and measures to demand national accountability for crimes perpetrated against women and WHRDs crucially need a strong base of gender key messaging. This is parallel to the fact that Impunity remains rampant in the MENA region, for both state and non-state actors. Governments continue to be complicit in evading accountability processes for crimes conducted against WHRDs. Subsequently, LC will look into how WHRDs can engage with UN special procedures to ensure accountability of state and non-state actors, advocacy key messaging, and how limitations of UN procedures can be addressed.<\/span><\/p>\n
